I've had a very good year. I got married and I've found myself working with a great team at iVillage that is interested in, and has the opportunity to put some 2.0 ideas onto a site with a large membership. I also managed to blog for over a year on a very consistent basis, I was late in starting one myself after setting them up for some clients, and think I'm getting the hang of it.
So a few resolutions of my own;
I'd like to make my blog funnier and more content filled. I often use it for noting innovative sites and some commentary on industry news. While I find my links useful for both reference and working through my thinking, I don't want to be a pundit so look for more links but also the introduction of more sound tours and other recordings. Also look for some other features such as the Merck Manual disease of the week which is an homage to growing up in a hypochondriac filled household. Also more Flckr photos and perhaps a redesign now that I am less afraid of the typepad templates.
I intend to keep working with my team at iVillage to push forward on innovation and hope to realize the advantages that a large user base brings to new things.
In March I hope to be involved with a very innovative project I helped dream up for a large American city. The grant is in so let's all keep our fingers crossed. The project will also mark the beginning of a collaboration I'm very excited about so there is even more pressure on it to come through.
I'd like to build some more sites for author and artist friends and start a project related to the experience of place.
I hope to finally be able to decide on a new cell phone and plan and to still avoid carrying a blackberry.
Other tech. wishes are to acquire a projector and get rid of the TV. Over the weekend we borrowed a friend's projector and showed a movie on to a sheet and it was great.
Home things; entertain more, continue evolving my relationship with my wife, and save money for a house.
To ride in a century in the Spring and to commute more often by bicycle.
To continue to be enthusiastic.
