notes on outside.in, everyblock and the future of local newspapers. I agree that the two sites and several others are really additive to the local picture. Ideally local sites could do the front line distribution, local ad sales, and then smartly tie in the services from everyblock, outside.in, zillow, facebook etc. How they continue to share in the revenue produced after the clicks back is a question that might prevent them from this more efficient model. Monetize: A word we didn't need - (37signals) thanks Karell not the idea of monitization just the word. Is it too much to write "make money from" or "generate revenue?" Since I find myself writing productize often I'm as guilty as the next person. (tags: web)
