These pages deliver on the promise of “multimedia storytelling.” On the page, you can watch a video, read the whole text story, scroll through a slideshow. There’s enough clutter in our lives: Why should you have to click a link to open another window just to hear/learn/see more? You’ll also find all kinds of new, simpler, ways to discover what you’re looking for and to navigate to what you care about most.
Just took a quick look. There are some really nice things going on here. I like the contextual tabs on the right side of the browser anchoring you to options specific to the story The story in Sen. Byrd has great timeline, so they must have a timeline creation tool handy. I also like the tools section below with it's mention of apps. iPad like in a browser. What do you think?
